I am here to search for a new employer. Way back in May 2010, I traveled to Lebanon to work as a housekeeper. Initially, my job was supposed to be at the house, but my madam sent me to school to learn how to do nails, waxing, and threading to help her in the salon. After working in the salon, I also assisted my fellow Filipina who was working at their house with all the household chores.
After 4 years of serving them with no days off and no vacation, my madam customer saw my hard work, dedication, initiative, kindness, and trustworthiness. She offered me a job at her house to take good care of her two kids, who were 12 and 9 years old at the time, and to handle all the tasks her family needed. She offered me a once-a-week rest day and a vacation every two years.
I loved this family, and they treated me like a member of their own. I stayed with them for 7 years. I didn't want to leave, but due to the crisis in Lebanon, my madam told me to find a better place to stay because of what was going on there.
I hope I can find another employer who treats me like my previous employers did. I guarantee that I will do my best and stay with you until you no longer need me. Thank you!
