Good day! I'm Marian, a single mom of three kids whom I raise with the help of my parents in the Philippines while I work in Taiwan. I've been working in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan for 12 years as a caretaker/caregiver. I took care of both the mother and father of my last employer for 10 years, but they passed away last year. The mother passed away in May at the age of 94, and the father passed away in November at the age of 96. I am currently hired by a new employer, but after my one-year contract, I do not want to renew my employment for certain circumstances. I can speak Mandarin and some basic Taiwanese, and I can live alone with a patient without supervision. I can easily learn the basic daily routine to take care of my patient, do simple massages, feed a patient through NGT, clean and take care of a patient with a catheter, and carry a bedridden patient. I also know how to take care of patients in the hospital.
