Renalyn

Hello, sir/madam. My name is Renalyn, and I am 38 years old. I am a single mother with 30 years of work experience. I started working at the age of 8 as a student employee. I come from a very poor family with eight siblings, and I am the eldest among a total of nine. Currently, I am in the Philippines, but I have spent nearly 11 years working in Singapore with three different employers.

My first employer was a Hong Kong Chinese family living in a three-story house. There were seven adults, including myself, and my responsibilities included cleaning, cooking, marketing, ironing, washing the car, and gardening. Unfortunately, I left this job because they were unable to provide enough food and there were no days off. I completed my contract with them.

My second employer was a Singaporean Chinese family with five adults living in an HDB (Housing and Development Board) flat. My duties were similar: cleaning, cooking, marketing, ironing, washing the car, and gardening. I left this position after finishing my contract because I did not have a private room and had to sleep in the living room. Additionally, my salary was low and often delayed, which made it difficult to support my family and child.

My third employer was a Chinese family from China, consisting of four members, including two children aged 6 and 9. My responsibilities included taking care of the children, cooking, marketing, cleaning, ironing, and transporting them to and from school while washing two cars every week. I worked with this family for six years.

Now, I am back in the Philippines for a while and I am looking for my next opportunity in a different country where I can work and provide for my family.
