I have been working in Singapore since 2002 as a helper for American families who relocate to the country for work. I typically work for each family for at least two years before moving on to the next. During my early years here, I spent my days off taking short-term courses in nursing aid, first aid, computer skills, and cooking. I did this to improve myself, to better communicate with my colleagues and bosses, and to gain more practical knowledge. I'm still eager to learn more and improve my skills. Currently, I'm working for an American couple, doing household chores, cooking, and marketing. Unfortunately, it's sad to know that they will be leaving soon.
