Rowena

I'm Rowena, a 44-year-old Filipino woman with two lovely daughters aged 21 and 17. I am married, a practicing Catholic, and currently working in Bahrain. I have been employed by the same Bahraini family for over 8 years as a domestic helper. Working in this country has been a significant challenge for me due to differences in culture, food, and religion, among other things. Despite these challenges, with the help of God, my perseverance, and hard work, I have managed to stay in this role for a long time with passion for my work.

My duties here are similar to those of any other domestic helper, but I always approach my work with love, respect, passion, and attentiveness to my superiors. These qualities, I believe, make me a good helper because I genuinely care about my work and the people I work for.
