Rema

My name is Rema. I am 37 years old and a single parent to a 9-year-old son. I am the eldest of 4 siblings and a high school graduate. I worked as a domestic helper in the UAE for 2 years, where I served a family of 5 members, including 2 adults and 3 children. My main duties included cooking, cleaning, picking up kids from school, car washing, and ironing. I also worked as a domestic helper in the UAE, serving a family of 7 members, including 2 adults and 5 children. I primarily cared for a 7-year-old autistic boy, taking him to and from school, feeding him, playing with him, helping him shower, and administering his medication.

In addition, I worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for 5 years and 9 months. I did not renew my contract because I wanted to settle my kids here in the Philippines. I am now ready to go back to Hong Kong so that I can provide for my son's needs. In Hong Kong, my main duties included caring for a disabled 6-year-old child, assisting with showering, feeding, picking him up from school, cleaning, car washing, laundry, and cooking, among other tasks.
