Menchie

My name is Menchie Lumbre and I previously worked as a domestic helper abroad, where I was responsible for a wide range of household tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the household. My duties included cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, and maintaining overall household organization. I also provided child care, which involved preparing meals, assisting with school activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children.  

Through this role, I developed excellent time management skills, as I needed to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently. I learned to adapt to the preferences and cultural practices of my employer, demonstrating flexibility, patience, and respect. My experience abroad also helped me enhance my communication skills and build strong interpersonal relationships.  

Working as a domestic helper required me to be detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy, as I handled sensitive tasks such as managing household schedules and ensuring the family’s comfort and safety. This role allowed me to grow professionally and personally, as I embraced challenges and gained valuable life and work experience.
