Dear Sir or Madam, my name is Lynor, and I am 31 years old. You can call me Lyn for short. I am seeking a new helper position, as my current employer no longer requires my services. I am originally from Mlang North, Cotabato in the Philippines, a town known for its safety and tranquility.

In my family of seven, I am the eldest child. I have one sister and three brothers. My father is a farmer, while my mother is a homemaker. The main reason for my desire to work abroad is to provide for my family and to ensure that my siblings have access to quality educational opportunities.

Currently, I work for a family of two in Hong Kong, where my primary responsibility is caring for an 86-year-old man. My duties include assisting with walking, bathing, changing clothes, and feeding. We also engage in daily activities such as walking around the garden. I handle grocery shopping on my way home, as my employer prefers fresh groceries daily. Upon returning home, I tidy up and clean the house, and I prepare simple meals, typically consisting of two dishes and one soup. After dinner, I clean the kitchen and the rest of the house, and I help put Popo to bed around 8:30 PM. I usually go to bed myself around 9 PM.

Before my current employment, I worked for a family of three in Hong Kong, caring for a 76-year-old man suffering from brain cancer. My responsibilities included assisting him with walking, administering medication, and taking him to hospital appointments. I managed cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and all household needs in that role.

I am seeking a new employer who requires care for their elderly parents or grandparents. I have a genuine passion for caring for the elderly, and my strengths as a helper include effective communication and time management skills. I am also eager to learn new skills as requested by my employer.
