Hello I’m Lanilyn and I’m Thrilled to apply for the nanny and tutor position with your family. Before that, allow me to introduce myself. I am 24 years old, turning 25 this coming September. I am from the Philippines, single, and never married. I am a four-year college graduate with a degree in Education, majoring in English. I have experience in babysitting from 2017 to 2021, when my cousin appointed me to take care of her 1-year-old child. My main duties and responsibilities included ensuring the child's safety, creating a stimulating environment, preparing meals, giving milk, changing diapers, encouraging healthy habits and hygiene, and providing fun educational activities like teaching colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. I also spoke to her in English to help her understand the language and engaged her in outdoor activities. Sometimes, I helped with household chores like cleaning, mopping, cooking, and preparing meals. After finishing my studies, I continued working as a babysitter for my niece and the same child I previously cared for. Since I love kids, I enjoy taking care of children. I am a trustworthy, honest, respectful, caring, responsible, and joyful person. I also have teaching experience from my last year in college, where I was assigned to teach junior students. My course included a subject child and adolesence that covered and understand the child development, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth. I believe the knowledge I gained from that subject will help me support and understand your child's development and also have patience for kids.
