My name is Joan, a Filipino. I am 31 years old, married and have 2 children, ages 6 and 11 years old. I worked for 3 years as a part-time housekeeper to a Chinese family with 2 adults and 1 child, to sustain my education here in my home country, my main responsibilities are cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, and child care. I also worked as a teacher, I decided to work overseas because my salary as a teacher was not enough to sustain the needs of my family.
