Ivy Joy

My name is Ivy Joy, and I am from the Philippines. I am a hardworking, reliable, trustworthy, and honest individual. I am flexible and capable of handling various household chores. I am a fast learner, and I have a lot of patience and love for children.

I have worked as an all-around housemaid in the Philippines for two years, from February 2020 to January 2022. My main responsibilities included:

• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries, including fish, pork, chicken, vegetables, and other household supplies
• Cooking a variety of dishes such as adobo, pork soup, chicken soup, fish soup, fried chicken, fried eggs, spam, hot dogs, and fried fish
• Doing laundry by separating white and colored clothes
• Ironing clothes
• Gardening
• Taking care of pets, including a dog and a cat
• Supervising and caring for children

In my role, I ensured the children had a smooth morning routine, which involved washing their faces, giving them milk, bathing them, dressing them, preparing breakfast, and assisting with their dental care. I also helped a 7-year-old boy by sending him to school and fetching him afterward. Additionally, I assisted with his homework, which included reading, writing, solving math problems, and counting. After school, I engaged the children in fun activities such as hide and seek, playing with bubbles, and using toys.
