Good day, Madame and Sir. My name is Emilou, and I am the mother of a 13-year-old daughter. I have been working in Hong Kong for nearly seven years with three different employers. My first employer was a family of three, consisting of a Chinese working couple. I completed my initial contract and was about to renew, but unfortunately, my employer lost her job and had to terminate my contract due to financial constraints. For my second position, I worked for another family of three—a Chinese couple and their 10-month-old baby girl. I completed my contract and was on track to renew when they decided to terminate my contract due to relocation. My most recent employment was with a family of six, which included two grandmothers, three adults, and a four-year-old girl. I worked with them for almost eight months but ultimately chose to break my contract due to their extremely high demands, resulting in insufficient sleep and verbal, mental, and physical stress. To my future employer, I hope that my past contract termination will not be a basis for your decision in choosing a helper.
