Hi Ellen Aleria, 40 years of age. I'm married and have a 19-year-old son. My first experience as a domestic helper is in Singapore for four (4) years taking care of an elderly woman aged 90  who has colon cancer and can't talk well and hear well. She has a monthly check-up and I'm giving her medicine every day. She has difficulty walking, so I'm helping her to the toilet and also I'm helping her to take a bath and with her meals. My second job is in Hong Kong for 6 years, with three adults: a single mom and her two children aged 24 and 21. My responsibilities to them include taking care of their cat, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning household items, marketing, washing one car, and also preparing lunch boxes to bring. My third employer is a family of four: a mom and dad with one daughter and a baby son. My duties to them are taking care of the baby, picking up and fetching the daughter, washing the car, and preparing lunch and dinner, but the madam does the marketing. I'm also doing household chores. The last work experience I have is with an American-Chinese family; they are 2 elders. My work for them includes gardening, cooking, car washing, and doing household chores. I'm a patient person and will not hesitate to ask my employer for updates on what they want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or any necessary information about my obligations and work to avoid misunderstandings.
