I began working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong in 2006 for a Hong Kongese family. The family consisted of an 8-year-old girl, a 3-month-old baby, the grandparents, and an uncle from the mother's side. I faced many challenges but persevered to learn basic Cantonese and Chinese cooking during my 6-year stay with them. From 2012 to 2021, I worked for families of different nationalities including Korean, French, British, American, and Chinese. Each experience taught me new skills and improved my work. I had the opportunity to explore various cuisines, different methods of newborn and childcare, and ways to make household chores more efficient. I treated each work experience as an opportunity to learn and grow. I always strived to be honest, receptive to instructions, and willing to step out of my comfort zone to enhance my skills and work independently. Showing respect and considering my employers' decisions and instructions was always at the forefront of my mind.
