Dear Sir and Madam, my name is Alma and I am 42 years old, from the Philippines. I am a single parent to three children. My eldest is a 22-year-old son, who is currently in his fourth year of engineering college. My middle child is a 22-year-old daughter, who is a first-year student in a tourism college. My youngest is a 4-year-old son, who is attending nursery school.

My father, Federico Dela Cruz, is 65 years old and works as a farmer, while my mother, Carmela Dela Cruz, is 63 and is a housewife. I am the eldest of three siblings.

From 2015 to 2017, I worked as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia. My primary responsibilities included caring for five children, aged 4, 7, 9, 14, and 17. I also handled cooking Arabic cuisine, washing clothes, cleaning, ironing, washing the car, and accompanying my employer to the market. I left this position after fulfilling my two-year contract.

My second employer was in Hong Kong, where I worked at Mayfair By The Sea from 2017 to 2019. I left this job because my employer relocated to China. My main duties included caring for two children, aged 12 and 2. I helped with grocery shopping at Tai Po Market, cooked Chinese food such as steamed fish and stir-fried vegetables, prepared pork and chicken soup, and occasionally made buns for my employer. Additionally, I washed the car, did the laundry, and took daily walks with the 2-year-old near the beach in the morning and afternoon.
