Rowena

My name is Rowena, and I am 46 years old. I am a high school graduate and a single mother of three children. I currently live in Masbate City. From 2010 to 2012, I worked in Saudi Arabia for a family of five. My responsibilities included cleaning the entire house, which had four rooms and four bathrooms, as well as washing clothes, ironing, and washing the car. Additionally, I assisted my grandmother with her daily needs, such as helping her use the bathroom, taking her medicine, and feeding her.

Currently, I am working in Malaysia, where I will complete my contract in December 2024. I care for a family of seven, including three children whom I have looked after since they were born. The children include a 16-year-old and a 70-year-old grandmother. My duties involve changing diapers, feeding, bathing, playing with the children, and tutoring them in the alphabet while teaching them to respect others, especially their parents. I love them as if they were my own children.

Sometimes, I cook meals for the kids and help the grandmother by giving her massages to relieve pain, especially during cold weather, and ensuring she takes her medicine. In my free time, I wash all the laundry and clean the house, including ironing.
