I've got experience in taking care of elderly, disable and teaching kids.My first job was to take care of the elderly and kid in Singapore, and my second job was to take care of disable 27-year-old lady in Hong Kong.

Introduction to foreign domestic helpers in Mizoram, India:

Region: A state in northeastern India, connected to Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Ethnicity: About 95% of the population comes from different tribal ancestry, most of which are from Southeast Asia, so their appearance is biased towards Southeast Asia.

Religion: 87% of the population is Christian, and almost all Mizolambang people believe in Christianity.

Diet: Since the main religion is Christianity, most of the maids in Mizolambang can handle and eat pork.

Main languages: People of Mizoram mainly speak English and Hindi. About 85% of Mizoram's population can speak basic English. Interestingly, their literacy level is also the highest in India. Having a common language foundation reduces the barriers to poor communication.

Personality: Mizo people are gentle, polite, hard-working and obedient.

Hong Kong opened applications for Indian domestic helpers in 2017, but now there are only about 60 foreign domestic helpers from Mizoram working in Hong Kong. There are relatively more in Singapore and Macau, and employers have mostly positive reviews of them.
