Good day, potential employers! My name is Johnny, and I am a 47-year-old married man with four grown children and a grandson. I am originally from Cebu, Philippines, and I have been living in Hong Kong for the past 12 years, serving three different employers. My first employer was a British family of four, who were friends of my wife's employer. I began my contract with them in 2012. During my first year, I served as a houseboy and handyman, taking care of cleaning, laundry, and the family's cat. During this time, I also enrolled in driving lessons, and I am pleased to say that I successfully obtained my driving license. My employer trusted me to drive the family and the children to work, school, and various activities. However, this contract lasted only one year. In 2014, I started working for my second employer, a Malaysian-Singaporean businessman, and his Filipina wife. I remained with them until 2021. My main responsibilities included driving the couple and their adult children, who lived independently. I also acted as a handyman, taking care of general maintenance tasks such as fixing walls and electrical issues, and I cared for their elderly cat. Unfortunately, they eventually moved away for good. My current employer is a modern local family of four, with whom I began working in December 2022. My primary duties include driving the parents and their children to school while assisting other helpers, as well as managing deliveries and handyman tasks.
