Rosie

My name is Rosie, and I am 45 years old and Filipino. I have been working in Hong Kong for almost 21 years, having started my journey here in June 2003. During my time here, I have cared for two children, handled marketing tasks, cooked meals, cleaned, and washed cars. After completing a two-year contract, I found another job but had to quit because I became pregnant. In this role, my main responsibilities included taking care of the children, cleaning, washing cars, cooking, and managing marketing tasks. I later applied for a new job in 2011, and I have now been with my current employer for nearly 14 years. My duties include taking care of babies, cleaning, cooking, managing marketing tasks, and tutoring the children with their homework.

As the children have grown, they have developed a strong affection for me, which sometimes makes my employer feel jealous. Because of this, I have decided that it may be time to seek a new opportunity with an employer who shows appreciation and has a kind heart. I pray to God for guidance to find a compassionate employer who embodies understanding and love. I will be finishing my current job on June 1, 2025, and I am hopeful to find a new position that aligns with these values.
