Renaliza

My name is Renaliza, and I am a 38-year-old Filipino. I have worked in Abu Dhabi for two years and have spent three months with my current employer in Hong Kong. My employer has two adults and three children. My responsibilities include housekeeping, cooking, and childcare. I decided to break my contract in November because my employer has not treated me well. She often speaks poorly to me, and recently, she even hit me on my back.

I wake up early, around 5 AM, and often go to bed late. I clean the house, do the laundry, prepare meals, and take care of the kids. Despite my efforts, my employer remains unsatisfied with my work, and I cannot understand why. It feels as though she does not like me.
