Hello, I'm Marissa. I am a 49-year-old single mother of three teenagers, and I am Filipino. Previously, I worked as a domestic helper in the United Arab Emirates for two years, where my main responsibility was house cleaning. I chose not to renew my contract because the salary was not sufficient to meet my children's needs. Currently, I have been working as a domestic helper in Tuen Mun Territory for 8 years with a single employer. My primary duty has been to care for my employer's newborn, and I continued in this role until the child turned eight years old.
