Maribelle

Hello, I’m Maribelle from the Philippines, and I am 55 years old. I have been working in Hong Kong since 1992. My first employer was Chinese, and when I started working with them, they had a 2-year-old son. After one and a half years, my employer became pregnant, so I took care of their two sons for five years until they migrated to Canada. My responsibilities included marketing, cooking, cleaning, and taking the children to school and caring for them while their parents were at work. For my second employer, I worked for six years. They had one son who was 8 years old when I began working with them. I looked after him, managed cooking, and cleaned their office. My lady boss was a stay-at-home mom, so when I was in the office, she took care of her son. I worked for my third employer for 15 years, caring for her as she was 70 and diabetic, requiring assistance with bathing and daily activities. I also managed her medications, including administering her insulin when her nurse wasn't available. In addition to personal care, I took care of cleaning, ironing, cooking, and other household duties. Currently, I am with my fourth employer, and I have worked for them for seven years, with my tenure approaching eight years in May 2025. However, they plan to release me at the end of March 2025, as my boss frequently travels to China, and their daughter is now 15 years old. Since the mother is not working, they have decided that she will take over the care of their daughter. When I first began working with them, their daughter was 8 years old, and my duties included bringing her to school, picking her up, providing lunch, cleaning, marketing, cooking, washing the car, and taking care of their two cats. I consider myself a flexible person, capable of preparing simple meals, and I am eager to learn more. I am hardworking, honest, and trustworthy. Thank you, and God bless.
