Karen Claire

I am Karen Claire, 33 years old and from the Philippines. I am currently working in Hong Kong and started as a domestic helper on June 28, 2024. I am now in charge of accompanying a 2-year-old girl to school with her mother's company. I am honest/loyal, patient, trustworthy, and open to learning things and adjusting to a new environment. I can do my job even without the supervision of my employer. Can do cook Filipino food but willing to learn how to cook other country's dishes. Since I am new to Hong Kong, I am so open to comments and suggestions as part of my learning process. I am a licensed teacher as for the profession. Before coming to Hong Kong, I was once a BPO representative (call center agent). My current employer is okay, unfortunately, I have been transferred to their son's family house, and no day off were given, and even a slight crying from their 2-year-old daughter due to not seeing the mommy around. Not having her wants can lead to our fault. I'm having a hard time adjusting with this type of environment. I am hardworking, but when a single thing is set for my care, I will do my best not to break/damage it. Child care is not easy and needs a lot of patience, but if a single person is under the surveillance or supervision of the parents now and then, it's so hard to be attached to the child and can't do the work either. 

I am not into bragging, I want to do the work or tasks assigned to me with care and passion to finish the work smoothly.

I plan to send my one-month notice letter to my current employer by October 2024.
