Joan

 

My name is Joan, 31 years old, single and i am from the Philippines. I am a college graduate took up Bachelor of Science Information and Technology.

I have been a co- teacher in a kindergarten in a public school as my part-time for 6months. I was helping my co-teacher to guide the other children in their daily activities such as writing, colouring, reading and counting  and i also, played with them.

My first job as a Domestic Helper is in Hongkong, i worked  with a family of 6 including the 7 years old and 9 years and 3 pets. my duties are household cores, taking care the lovely dogs and cat and i also help the kids to do their homework if they need me. I also joining play with them when there are playing card games. They treat me as a family and in returned i treat them also as a family with respect. They Migrate in London so i need to go back in the Philippines for while.

While I am in Philippines i was a babysitter of a 3 year old girl.  She need a special attention since she has an ASD. I was helping her with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, eating and accompanying her to attend occupational therapy. I also helping her to teach the basic life like brushing, holding pencil, eating with utensils dressing herself. And helping her to develop her social skills.

Currently i am working here in Hongkong again with my new  employer last January 2023 up to present. i am taking care of 4 year old lovely boy. I am helping him to do his daily tasks since. mSometimes we go outside to play. I help him to make his homework preparing his meals and snacks, Bathing and helping him to brush his teeth. Teaching him how to be independently. 

I also, completing the programme of caregiving and attend workshop on first-aid and CPR.

I simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths as a nanny are that I am very responsible, reliable and caring person. I am passionate about furthering my time in the Nanny field so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences.
