Hello, my name is Amie. I have been working in Hong Kong for 12 years. My first employer was a Chinese family consisting of two adults and two children: a four-year-old girl and a baby boy who was just nine days old when I arrived in Hong Kong in 2012. I love children, and the family trusted me to take care of them, especially when the mother traveled. During her three-week trips abroad, I took care of both children. The parents were often busy, and I worked for this family for eight years and four months. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, both parents lost their jobs and they had to let me go for valid reasons. It was incredibly difficult to say goodbye to the children, but I needed to find work to support my own family. My second employer is a Hong Kong resident, and I currently work for a household with one adult and one teenager. I am still employed here and maintain a very large home, which includes two big houses and one flat totaling 5,000 square feet. I also care for a large turtle that weighs approximately 25 kg. Although my work is extensive, I manage everything well. I am skilled in cooking and am always willing to learn new things. In terms of my personality, I am a simple and caring person.
