Taiwanese American family looking for caregiver

Looking for a loving caregiver for our teenage autistic son, who will be travelling between U.S. and Taiwan for leisure.

Our son has a bubbly nature (very happy and chatty), zero aggression, very obdient to adults, loved by all his teachers and caregivers.  He is independent in toileting, changing clothes, eating, sleeping, showering, and brushing teeth.  English is his main language.

We want a loving caregiver to keep him safe and happy, to accompany him to daily outings like swimming, theme parks, as well as vacation trips both domestically and internationally , as he loves to travel.  Of course, visas to countries like U.S. can only be approved by the embassy after establishing stable work experience with our family.

Besides of caring for our son, there will also be responsibilities to help with housekeeping chores, but workload will not be heavy.  Our family culture is more American than Chinese -- we treat our caregiver with respect, as part of our family.  You will have a good size private room in a newly appointed apartment, one that is much larger than normal Hong Kong helper bedrooms.  You will have a good work life balance.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have worked for at least 5 years with one same employer, AND fluent in English.  The only exception to the above requirement is candidates with experience in caring for individuals with autism.  Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications.  Start date is flexible, ideally before July 2025.
