US Family, 2 kids, Clementi area

Hi, we are an American family with two boys, 6 and 8. We treat our helper like a member of the family, speak kindly to them, and appreciate their hard work. You can talk to our current helper to ask about us. We arrive in Singapore June 19th and will live in Clementi where you would have your own room. Ma'am works overseas so it will usually be just the father and two boys. The boys are in school from 8am-3:30pm so you will have free time during school days. We provide annual bonuses and can likely allow you yearly holiday leave based on our travel. You will do child care, cooking, groceries, cleaning, and other duties. Our requirements: currently in Singapore, experience working with children, positive attitude, happy to learn new skills, good with schedules, good talking with kids. We want our boys to grow up with some independence and responsibilities, so we expect them to help set the table, put clothes in the laundry bin, etc. You will help us teach them to do these things. You will speak up and get them to do chores even though we know it would be easier to just do it yourself. One important thing: we cannot offer a full day off on either weekend day. We can be flexible (half day off Sun, half another day, or full day off during M-F). We will need some help on both Sat and Sun regularly. This is because we will not have two parents in the house on most weekends. We can be flexible on exact hours. If you want to work more often and take fewer rest days, we can pay you more. Of course, if you need a full day off on the weekend for a special reason, we can be flexible. In your response, you MUST confirm the following so I know you read our whole posting:

- you are currently in Singapore

- you can start soon (tell me what day you can start and when your current work permit ends)

- I can talk to your current or a former employer

- you are willing to have flexible rest day that is not full day Sat or Sun
