SG Chinese/Malay Family with newborn looking for helper

Hello! We are a Singaporean mixed Chinese and Malay family looking for direct hire. Expecting a baby in Feb 2024, and looking to hire latest by 1 Jan 2024 (able to start by 20 Dec 2023 is best).

We are warm-hearted and easy-going, and will provide you with a relatively structured weekly timetable to help manage your time and duties. We both work full time, but one of us works from home 100%.

Main tasks

- General cleaning: Vacuum, mop, cleaning the bathrooms, wash dishes, laundry etc. We have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a small living/dining room. Area for cleaning is generally quite small.

- Baby care: Feed, bathe, change diapers etc. 

- Cooking: Able to handle cooking lunch and dinner most days of the week.

Our requirements:

- Respectful - we are going to be living together as a family, so no bad attitude will be tolerated. We must all feel comfortable being together

- You preferably have children of your own, or at least prior baby care experience

- You preferably have had past SG experience of at least 2 full years with one employer OR past experience in Middle East/Taiwan/Hong Kong

- Can run simple errands like grocery shopping or packing lunch

- Honest and hardworking - trust goes both ways

- Able to provide employer reference and share why you want to leave or have left your previous employer

- Direct hire only, already here in SG (please do not apply if you're not in SG)

What we offer:

- Salary: $5xx up to $7xx. Depending on experience and fit. Apply only if you are ok with this salary range.

- Wifi

- 1-2 days off per month - usually Sundays but may be other days depending on the situation. If you prefer more than 2 days off per month, please do not apply

- Do note that for the first 28 days after the baby is born (expected to be start of Feb 2024), you will need to sleep on a sofa bed in the living room as we live in a 3-room flat (2 bedrooms only) and we have a confinement nanny who will be staying in the second room with the baby. Thereafter, you will stay in the second room with the baby, with your own bed and storage space
