North Indian Punjabi Family with Dog/Car , Condo 3 BR + Helper Room/Toilet The employers are a North Indian (Punjabi) couple who have lived in Singapore since 2006. Their family includes two working adults who often work from home and a large Labrador retriever treated as a family member. Previous helpers have completed 2-4 year contracts, handling tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrating strong work ethics. Priority tasks for the helper include cleaning, dog care, cooking, and general household chores. The helper will have a private room with a toilet and Wi-Fi access, along with two Sundays off per month. The employers expect a helper who is committed to a minimum two-year contract, capable of working independently without supervision, and mentally strong to handle the challenges of being a live-in helper. They should genuinely love dogs, treat the family’s dog as a family member, and be efficient, proactive, and able to multi-task. The ideal helper maintains personal cleanliness, takes initiative to learn and improve, and is open to feedback. Additionally, they should be honest, respectful, hard-working, polite, and maintain a positive attitude. Good health, basic cooking skills, and a willingness to learn are essential, along with basic English for interactions during dog walks. The helper should also have completed at least 10th grade, be fully vaccinated, and have an active passport. Daily tasks include dusting, cleaning utensils, vacuuming, mopping floors, handling laundry, and dog grooming, basic cooking of north India dishes like Chapati, Veg, Daal kitchen cleaning, dog care, and additional responsibilities like car cleaning, changing bedsheets, and deep cleaning rooms. Deep-cleaning tasks focus on furniture, cupboards, drawers, kitchen cabinets, and ceiling fans.
