Job Title: Household Maid

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Household Maid to join our Indian family and contribute to the smooth functioning of our household. As a valued member of our home, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure our residence remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all family members and guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Upkeeping: Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy living environment.

2. Cooking: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals for the family according to provided recipes and dietary preferences, ensuring freshness and hygiene in food preparation.

3. Pet Care: Attend to the needs of our two sun conure parrots, including feeding, cleaning their cages, and ensuring their well-being.

4. Grocery Shopping and Kitchen Restocking: Purchase groceries and household supplies as needed, and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked at all times.

5. Household Maintenance: Keep every corner of the home clean and shiny, paying attention to details to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

6. Childcare: Provide care and supervision for our two children, aged 5 and 7 years old, including taking them to the playground, engaging them in educational and recreational activities, and ensuring their well-being and good behavior.

7. Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linens as required, ensuring they are properly stored away.

8. Dishwashing: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchenware promptly after meals to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

9. Guest Hospitality: Assist in welcoming and taking care of guests visiting our home, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

10. Limit Phone Usage: Refrain from using personal devices during working hours to focus on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Household Maid or similar role, preferably within an Indian household.
• Knowledge of Indian cuisine and proficiency in cooking various dishes.
• Ability to handle household chores efficiently and independently.
• Experience in childcare and pet care is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to take day off on alternate Sundays and adapt to flexible working hours if needed.
