Domestic Helper for Growing Family with Expectant Baby

We are a loving and growing family excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first baby. To help us with the transition and ensure a smooth running household, we are seeking a dedicated and trustworthy domestic helper to join our family. As a domestic helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment, while also providing assistance with newborn care.

Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping: Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the living spaces.

2. Laundry and Ironing: Handle the family's laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens.

3. Meal Preparation: Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring the family has healthy and nutritious meals. Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions is a plus.

4. Newborn Care: Support the parents in taking care of the newborn by assisting with feeding, diaper changing, bathing, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

5. Organization and Errands: Help with organizing household items, running errands (grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, etc.), and managing supplies for the baby.

6. Pet Care: If applicable, provide basic care for our family pet, such as feeding, walking, and grooming.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Prior experience as a domestic helper, preferably with experience in newborn care or childcare.

2. Newborn Care Knowledge: Familiarity with newborn care best practices, including feeding, bathing, diapering, and ensuring a safe environment.

3. Housekeeping Skills: Proficiency in housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organization.

4. Trustworthiness: Must have a proven track record of reliability, honesty, and respect for privacy.

5. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.

6. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform household chores and lift up to 11 kilograms when needed.

7. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a changing schedule and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the family.

8. Language Skills: Basic proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a bonus.
