British family looking for a helper

We are a british family with a 16 month old and a 3 month old now. We will be moving to our apartment in the West Coast area circa 30th August - 1st September and are looking for an Assistant to support childcare and essential household chores.

The assistant will primarily be caring for the 3 month old as the 16 month old will go to nursery Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm)

The job role will include:

• General child care during the hours of 7 am - 5 pm (nursing, sleeping, interacting and playing).
• The nursery school leaves around 8 am and picks up around 3 pm (the nursery is 1 km away from the apartment)
• Basic household chores like tidying and cleaning.
• Very Basic Pet Care - Take a small dog outside once a day to use the toilet.

My wife and I work at a nearby school and will leave the house around 7am and come home around 5pm. Between 3pm - 5pm after collecting the older child from the nursery, the candidate must babysit for both children. During these times Monday through Friday is the only time the candidate has both children.

We are very active and involved parents so in the evenings when we get back from work we will be taking care of the kids and babies virtually. The selected candidate may be required to complete some basic household chores during this time but the evenings will be more relaxed. This is the same at weekends, so the selected candidate will usually have a minimum of 1 1/2 days, and some weekends will have Saturdays and Sundays. It will change week by week. We may ask the shortlisted candidate to work a Saturday night if the parents have plans but that won't be much (maybe 1 weekend a month).

The selected candidate will have their own bedroom and space, and we want them to feel comfortable and be part of our family. All we ask in return is someone who is honest, hardworking and able to follow instructions regarding our children's work and needs.
