We are a busy family of four (two adults, a toddler, and a newborn) seeking a reliable and proactive full-time Domestic Helper. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of all housekeeping duties, including cooking and food preparation, ensuring our home is clean, organized, and well-maintained without requiring our supervision or interaction. Additionally, they should be comfortable assisting with childcare, particularly during busy times or as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the home, including daily cleaning and deep cleaning as needed.
- Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes.
- Kitchen duties, including dishwashing, cleaning appliances, and ensuring the kitchen is tidy.
- Grocery shopping and restocking household supplies.
- Organizing and tidying up rooms, closets, and storage areas.
- Waste management, including taking out the trash and recycling.
Cooking and Food Preparation:
- Plan and prepare healthy and balanced meals for the family, including meals for the toddler and newborn as needed.
- Follow any dietary preferences or restrictions and adjust meal plans accordingly.
- Prepare snacks and lunch boxes as needed.
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure that fresh ingredients are always available.
Childcare Assistance:
- Assist with caring for a toddler and a newborn, including feeding, changing diapers, and supervising playtime.
- Help with bedtime routines and other daily childcare tasks.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Other Duties:
- Run errands such as picking up groceries, dry cleaning, or other household needs.
- Assist with family events or gatherings when necessary.
- Coordinate with other household staff (if any) to ensure smooth operation of the home.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a domestic helper or in a similar role.
- Experience with newborns and toddlers is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in cooking and meal preparation.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (or your preferred language).
- Flexibility with working hours, including the ability to stay late or work on weekends if needed.
