Domestic Helper & Newborn Caregiver - 5.5 days work

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our family as a domestic helper to provide exceptional care for our newborn baby as well as assist with housekeeping duties. We are a Portuguese/ Chinese couple and are hoping to find someone with a background in nursing, education, or psychology to support our family's needs. This position offers an opportunity to become an integral part of our family :)

Responsibilities:

- Providing personalized care and attention to our newborn baby due in July, including feeding, changing, and nurturing her/his wellbeing (we both work full time).

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the household, which includes tidying up, laundry, and general cleaning (we have another part time helper to do the cleaning three times a week, your duties in housekeeping will be mostly focused on the baby‘s and general cleaning).

- Assisting with meal preparation (my mother takes care of most of the cooking, she is a very good chef and loves to teach!)

- Walking our 12 year old dog occasionally (my mother does most of the walking but would be great to have additional support!)

- Supporting the family with other household tasks and errands as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Background in nursing, education, psychology, or related field is preferred.

- Prior experience in caring for newborns or infants is highly valued.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly living environment.

- A compassionate and patient approach to childcare and household responsibilities.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of our family's privacy and home.

Additional Information:

- This is a full-time position with working hours from 8am- 8pm and daily break time of two hours. Monday to Friday (mainly!) and half day Saturday (yes you will get 1.5 day off per week).

- Compensation and benefits will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

- We are located in Coloane Macau and the potential candidate should be comfortable with live-in arrangements (also negotiable).
