Western family looking for a second helper

To provide more details about the position, we live in the Mid-Levels, Western Christian family (French), in HK for 14 years, and in HK for the long-term as my husband has his own company in Hong Kong. 

 

We have 3 girls of 8yo, 6yo, and 4yo (and 1 baby boy on the way, due in Feb) who all take the school bus. We are currently hiring a driver as well to help with the driving around and groceries. We need someone who is experienced in Western cooking. Our two lovely helpers worked with us for 8 years but 1 has relocated to Canada to be with her children and the other wanted to have a second child which is why we are looking for their replacements. We ensure the division of work is fair, do not accept telling on each other, and therefore our helpers have always enjoyed an harmonious co-working and have been happily working together for all 8 years. 

 

Location & Flat Size: Mid-Levels Central, 2,615 sq.ft

 

Salary / Food Allowance: Salary is negotiable and based on the experience of the person we hire (usually between HKD 7,000-HKD 8,000, depending on experience). Food is provided by the employer and the helper can buy what she prefers to eat. We increase salary at each renewal, we pay bonuses and extra paid holidays every year to the Philippines when the circumstances allow.

 

Helper’s Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom, to be shared with another helper who has just started working for our family one month ago. Bedroom medium sized, own separate bathroom, fully renovated with AC, own exit and full privacy. Bunk bed, large wardrobe, and various storage places.

 

Helper’s Off: Both helpers are off on Sundays (and it goes without saying, all statutory holidays)

 

Other requirements: Western cooking skills, ready to work with another helper, kind. hard-working and patient.
