Mixed Chinese-French family looking for hardworking helper

We are a busy middle-aged mixed family (Chinese-French) expecting our first baby soon.

Location: Tung Chung, 5min walk to city gate

Looking for: Candidates currently in HK with baby experience and finished contracts (or termination with valid reasons). References from previous employers who will be contacted is a requirement.

Main duties:

-              Assistance with newborn/baby

-              Cooking lunch and dinner. Western and Chinese cooking. As well as preparing lunch boxes. Passion for cooking is highly appreciated.

-              Grocery shopping and going to market.

-              Household chores: cleaning for 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, regular laundry and ironing (work suits, shirts as well as casual clothes)

We would like someone who is quick and efficient with good work ethics. We want someone who is autonomous but can follow our schedule, and not afraid to ask questions if instructions are not clear. We want someone we can trust. You will be reporting to the wife.

Requirements:

-              Good command of English, Cantonese is a plus

-              Must love cooking.

-              Must love baby and have experience in baby care.

-              Good personal and kitchen hygiene. As a baby is coming soon, this is essential. Example: Wash hands when entering house and before cooking and before touching baby is an absolute must. No dishwashing with same sponge as cleaning sponge.

-              Good time management (always be on time, prepare on time).

-              Have attention to detail.

-              Can follow instructions.

-              Can keep track of stock in the house.

-              Good mood, good attitude, strong work ethic.

-              Motivated to do a good job every day, hardworking.

-              Nonsmoker, non alcoholic

-              No use of phone for personal entertainment during work hours unless family emergency.

-              Strict social media policy: no picture of family or house should be shared on social media which would breach our privacy

Benefits:

In house accommodation. Food allowance. Salary will be increased competitively above basic after three months if employer is satisfied.

Other remarks: CCTV at home (public areas) for baby monitoring. No cash advance. No photo of family or inside of the flat on social media.
