Job Description: Family Helper (Live-In) Position: Family Helper / Domestic Helper (Childcare & Cooking Focus) Location: Repulse Bay, Hong Kong Start Date: Immediate Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-In Key Responsibilities: 1. Childcare: • Provide attentive care for two children (3-year-old and 3-month-old), including feeding, bathing, diaper changes, and age-appropriate activities. Main focus is on the 3 year old, as we have another helper taking care of the newborn 2. Cooking & Meal Preparation: • Plan and prepare daily meals for the family, ensuring nutritional balance and catering to dietary preferences. • Handle grocery shopping and manage kitchen inventory. 3. Household Support: • Light housekeeping duties related to childcare (e.g., tidying children’s rooms, laundry, sterilizing bottles/toys). • Collaborate with the existing helper to manage shared household tasks. 4. Other Duties: • Accompany the family on outings or travels as needed. • Maintain open communication with the employers regarding children’s needs and routines. Requirements: • Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in childcare (infant care experience is essential) and household cooking. • Language Skills: Proficiency in English or Filipino; basic Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus. • Personal Qualities: ◦ Patient, nurturing, and reliable with a genuine love for children. ◦ Ability to work harmoniously in a shared living space (room shared with another helper). ◦ Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic family environment.
