Hong Kong family looking for helper

Family Description:

We are a family of four, including two children (a 15-year-old girl studying in the UK and a 5-year-old girl). We live in Tai Wai, Shatin, in a spacious 1500 sq. ft. home.

Job Opportunity:

We are looking for a full-time live-in Filipino helper to join our family as soon as possible. We offer competitive salaries for experienced helpers, along with a cash food allowance and annual bonuses.

Eligibility:

We will only consider applicants who are currently in Hong Kong and either have a completed contract or have been terminated due to employer relocation.

What We Offer:

• Monthly Salary:

  • First 3 months: $5,000
  • After 3 months: $5,500 (based on performance)
  • After 6 months: $6,000 (based on performance)

• Monthly Cash Food Allowance: $1,200

• Bonuses: Christmas and Chinese New Year bonuses

• Days Off: Saturday or Sunday

• Accommodation: Private room with A/C and own washroom in our home, just 3-5 minutes by MTR station.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Cooking Chinese meals
• Cleaning the house
• Assisting with care for our younger daughter (the kids sleep in their own rooms) for a few hours 3-5hrs each day.

Requirements:

• Aged 35 or older, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with families that have children in Hong Kong
• Currently in Hong Kong with a completed contract or terminated due to employer relocation, with at least one reference from a former employer
• Experience with children, demonstrating a strong awareness of hygiene and child safety
• Ability to cook Chinese food (or a willingness to learn)
• A polite, cheerful, and honest individual with good English skills
• No loans or debts
• Non-smoker
