Helper for Western Family in Hong Kong

We are seeking a kind and outgoing helper to join our family in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on caring for our children while also managing various household duties. We are looking for someone who is kind, nurturing, and has a genuine love for working with children. Someone who will fit into our family dynamic and maintain a safe and organised home. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Family Assistance:

• Assist with daily tasks and errands for family members, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and grocery shopping.

• Accompany the family on overseas holidays, providing support and care. 

• Maintain tidy and organised living spaces, ensure a comfortable home atmosphere. 

 

Children Assistance: 

• Provide attentive care and supervision for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Safely transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and playdates, ensuring punctuality and adherence to schedules.

• Organise and participate in recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games, to promote physical and mental development.

 

Household Management:

• Prepare healthy home-cooked meals in accordance with dietary requirements.

• Manage household supplies and maintain an organised home environment.

• Oversee household maintenance and liaise with service providers as needed.

 

Additional Duties:

• Communicate with family members to understand their needs and preferences.

• Collaborate closely with other staff to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.

• Responsible for the care of dogs or other animals, ensuring their overall well-being. 

 

Qualifications:

 

Language:

• Must speak and write fluent English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus. 

 

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in childcare and household management.

• Experience in preparing healthy home-cooked meals.

• No criminal record.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Adaptable and flexible to changing schedules and demands.

• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet.
