Companion for 95 year old elderly gentleman

Hello, my 95 year old father is an independent and mobile gentleman who is deaf but does not, currently, need personal care.

 

He already has a live in female Companion who would take care of his medication, day time needs and health care appointments. Unfortunately, he is waking at nights for conversation and keeps the Companion from sleeping so she is too exhausted during the day. We are looking for someone who could mainly provide nighttime company should he wake at nights. The hours of duty would be from 9pm to 9am.  However, should there be a need, your duties could involve a change to day time duties but you would not be expected to work more than 12 hours in any 24 hour period.

 

You would have your own room.

 

The Companion only speaks Cantonese and you would be working closely with her. My Father speaks and reads both Chinese and English.  My Father lives in a village near Sheung Shui where there is easy connection to the MTR for your day off which would be negotiable.

 

I live in the UK but will be coming out to Hong Kong on the 20^th June for two weeks and hope to interview and offer the job before I leave on the 4^th July.
