Caregiver for elderly

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist in the daily care of two elderly individuals. The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and able to communicate effectively in Cantonese. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of our elderly family members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance to two elderly individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Help with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Assist with medication management and reminders.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Accompany the elderly on outings or appointments as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the elderly.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in elderly care or a similar role is preferred.
- Fluent in Cantonese; ability to communicate effectively with the elderly.
- Patient, caring, and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and be obedient to the needs of the elderly.
- Must be physically able to assist with mobility and daily activities.
