2 Adults with 1 Newborn Looking for Live-in Helper

Family in Hong Kong with 2 adults and 1 newborn looking for a full-time, live-in helper who can start in early March 2025 and commit for 2 years.

Compensation: Monthly salary starts at HK$5,000-5,400; a raise and bonus may be available in 8-12 months based on performance. We will not provide loans or salary advances. 

Responsibilities: Baby care (including daytime feeding, diaper change, bathing, dressing, night feeding in the first 6-8 months, and monitoring the baby's safety and well-being); preparing lunch and dinner and washing dishes; weekly laundry; basic household cleaning. 

Requirements: Fluency in English; good personal hygiene; experience working with newborns and toddlers; simple cooking based on instructions; clear plan for managing personal finances and family commitments; at least 1 reference provided by a previous employer; non-smoker only. 

Household Rules: No phone use during work hours; no photo, video, or audio recording inside employers' home; no drinking on work days; no visitors without employers' consent. 

Accommodation: The helper will share a bedroom with the baby in the first 6-8 months and have her own bedroom once the baby no longer requires night feeding. There will be a baby monitor in the room. The helper will also have a designated storage space. 

Rest Day: Saturdays preferred. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. 

Paid Annual Leave: 7 days with at least 14 days' advance notice.
