Western family helper

We are a family of four from the UK with two children aged 6 and 8. We live at The Peak. We are looking for someone to be in charge of a range of responsibilities within our household.

You will be required to take care of a large three storey house.  Daily duties include washing and ironing, sweeping and cleaning of floors, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, changing beds, grocery shopping and occasional cooking and meal preparation.

In addition to this you will be required to assist with the school run; dropping and pick up of the kids from the bus stop.  You will need to be flexible with babysitting duties; this will mostly be at weekends but could also include weeknights at short notice.  After time you may need to be involved with looking after our pet dog.

Ideally you will have experience of spending time with children and are enthusiastic in their company.  You will also be patient, safety conscious and caring with them.

Above all we are looking for someone who will be honest and trustworthy with us.  We are willing to offer guidance at the start but ultimately you will be able to work with minimal supervision.

We are a loving family and are open to welcoming the right candidate into our home.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible so a finished contract applicant is preferred.
