British Indian couple with one child

We are a full-time working couple with a 6-year old son, who goes to full-time school. We live in Pok Fu Lam.

We are looking to welcome a helper who is willing to become part of our family, help look after our son and manage household during our absence.

You should be pro-active and think outside the box, have the ability to work confidently in the kitchen and manage the household independently.

It’ll be a bonus if you are have great organisational skills and a passion for cooking, including baking. My 6-year old has developed an interest in cooking and will happily watch cooking shows with you.

We do not own a car nor do we have any pets.  You will need to learn to manage your time efficiently throughout the week between carrying out your duties, looking after our son and taking him to after school activities.

1. you are currently in Hong Kong;


2. finished contract or terminated due to relocation or financial reasons;


3. available to start by 4 January 2020 or earlier; and


4. willing to provide employer’s contact for verbal reference; and


5. have a minimum 4 years experience in looking after young children.

Our salary will be based on your experience, starting with $5,000 per month and you’ll have your own room. You will also have Sundays and Statutory holidays. Discretionary bonus will also be paid during Christmas, CNY, birthdays and Diwali.  Additionally, and depending on how well you perform and how quickly you bond with our family (which we believe is key to developing a strong working relationship), we are willing to sponsor your air ticket back home once every year but timing of your leave will depend our holidays, which is usually around Christmas or summer time.  This is discretionary and only based on your performance.
