Elder Companion

From my customer:

My mom is now 80 years old with good health in pas history, but on Aug 2018 she had heart surgury and since then her strength in walking seems weakened, she needs a stick to aid for walking. She used to do all the housework by herself before, but now, her hands’ strength seems weaken too, therefore I would like to hire someone to help her to do housework . The domestic help will have to accompany my mom to do exercise in the morning, then will go to the market nearby to buy food, walk with her home and accompany her to the clinics. Take care of her and prevent her to fall.

The flat of my mom is small with only one bedroom, therefore, the helper will have share room with my mom, we will buy a bunk and the helper will sleep on the upper deck. (A fold out bed in the main room is also an option) We also got a balcony, where can dry the washing and there are some plants, the balcony provide a good view, its size is as big as the flat. It is quite comfortable staying there."

The elderly woman does NOT speak English, so some Cantonese will be necessary. The elderly woman sleeps at 9 p.m. so the workday will not be too long. She has never had a helper before so they expect that both she and the helper will need to adjust to each other.

The helper will have Sunday off. The customer is ONLY interested in contract finishers or applicants who can process in Hong Kong. They want someone with eldercare experience and if possible, a good reference.  If you are break contract or terminated, please don't apply for this position, because the employer won't consider you.
