HELP for Domestic Workers was founded in 1989 by a group of lawyers who worshipped at St John Cathedral in Hong Kong. Over 100,000 workers have passed through our doors. We have been providing free legal advice and assistance on employment, immigration and human right issue to foreign domestic workers for over 30 years.
Empowering domestic workers by raising awareness about domestic workers issue in the community, developing programs that help to educate domestic helpers rights, and help them gain access to justice and receive a fair and equal treatment. We believe that every domestic worker in Hong Kong, irrespective of race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or gender, should have access to justice and receive equal and fair treatment before the law.
